Just wanted to share this video with our great community in the hope that it reaches folks who may not have a lot of experience with recovery, even if it only educates one person about safe recovery techniques it will have been worth it!

It doesn't look like they offer one for Tacoma. Which one did you use?

He’s working on moulds for Tacomas now but cabs are different for DC and AC and generation. The RAM fits an AC perfectly which is what I have on mine.

TBH I’m not sure. He can mod the spoiler because on some Tacos the antenna sits farther back on the cab so he cuTs it to fit.

Mine is for the RAM and it works I think

Did tailgate inserts. Have mixed feelings. I'll wait till I chrome delete the bumpers to make a decision.

Looks good to me. And if you do the bumper chrome delete, I'm sure it will look even better. I have MGM, and I don't think there'd be sufficient contrast: letter to paint color. o_O

Apologies, I was referring to the center caps on your TE37,... they look good but they do not appear to be either variant from Rays and I wondered if they were custom. Thanks in advance.

He already said that they came with his wheels. Yes, I understand that TE37’s don’t come with center caps, as mine didn’t.

Needle bearing isn't an issue for all. No issues with my 21 having vibrations after its lift, even when the cv axle angles were super unhappy. Might as well replace it if you already have it, but they seem to not effect as many of the newer trucks as they did with the earlier years from what I've seen.

Why? The sports are for street and the Offroad are for.. well offroad. The fenders are a very commonly scraped area and scratched unpainted parts look better than scratched painted ones. Plus the truck looks a lot tougher with the black fenders. If the offroad came with painted ones I would have swapped them for unpainted - I hate the look of them painted lol.

Just the trim, idk why though

The offroads do come with painted bumpers if you get parking sensors

i like the chrome but the beauty is it’s our truck and we can do anything we want to it. I’d like to see it after it’s blacked out.

I think chrome looks great with classic styling. Cherry red or navy blue look great with a chrome bumper. With something flat like army green or lunar I prefer the blacked out look. But like you said, to each their own, that's the fun part.

I think you’re referencing the black fender flares. OP was talking about the chrome bumper caps. I think most would prefer black to chrome. Especially when your truck has the “blackout package” but the chrome caps remain.

Oh.. I was. Makes more sense to me that he was asking about the fenders since there's a simple explanation for the bumperettes... But hard to tell when they don't specify lol.

Re: that: It's a package you can order. I specced mine with the tech package specifically to get the painted caps. I don't think it's a model-specific thing as I've seen them painted on multiple trim levels. That's the only package I added when I ordered my 21 since I knew I'd be changing everything else. The beeps have saved me a few times offroad from backing into crap too low to see from the mirrors which is nice too lol.

Yeah, I would’ve gotten that package if I could’ve. I didn’t want to risk missing out on the color I wanted for that. I just think black like the fenders would be a better “base option” that goofy chrome plastic.

Ahh np then man. They do sell painted replacement caps online. Not priced too badly either.

The standard caps on the offroad are still chrome though if you don't get the tech package.
