Won’t lie these crossmember where pretty simple to build. But my rear one was just a straight bar with the clamp around the rear output and the front I had a bent tube that was close and used the trans mount holes. I tried to keep it simple

I think the link mount locations messed me up and had me wasting a lot of time. Im also super new to bending tube. I made my shock hoop brace bends and cut it to length in like an hour so I think Im speeding up a little. Regardless, you made yours fast as fuck!

Looks good. Basically same as what mine will end up like. I just needed to get one brace for trans for now cause im on a time crunch. What motor is in that?

Yeah my transmission crossmember was super hard because I had to snake it between the atlas and trans and then over the flange but close enough to not hit the shifters. My upper link lands right next to the atlas so that’s why I just put it in the cab and cut the floor and welded it to the top of the frame lol

smart. The struggle to weld the top of the link/xmembr plate on mine was comical. Had to do the reach around case and weld backwards move.

The stuff nobody sees when looking at a fully built truck. In fact, nothing you look at is even hard. The link setup itself was the easiest part so far. If it works. Lol

Don't weld the tower as 1. Make it removable in case you have to work on the engine. Life will be easier.

These. Its just a lateral brace. Doesn't need to stop from twisting plus these can go closer to hoop so motor has plenty of room. Ill prob tac weld them as well since I prob won't removing often.

Fuck wrap. If ceramic coating wasn't so ugly I would never have used it. Another 50ft of 2". Done finally.

Wish I wrapped this fast in real life. The home of my future temp shop. Just gotta kick my kid out. Fun times!

Nice. I like that motor. Idk why I thought it had a crossover like a 3.4. That’s why I asked.

If you're talking about the exhaust, it does just not shown there, those pics were before the exhaust was finished. Gas tank gets in the way of duals out the back. It wraps around verrry close to the tank and Atlas.

Geez man. I’m getting burned the fuck out. Not from truck just everything. Finally got front done. Now I can put back together. The black is satin. It’s flattening out.

You've been going at it non stop. Can't say I've followed a build that hasn't taken at least 2 like 4-5 month breaks at this point in the build.
Props to you man. You got it

You're in the final stretch. Pump those legs and make it to the finish line. Once it's done, time to sit back, have a glass of whiskey and a stoagie. Or do that a few times as you go

Thanks guys! The amount of fab work on these builds is def the thing I underestimated the most. Been doing like @Wulf said and cutting perfect corners short in favor of just finish.
