That's a really nice harness! I might get one for our Lab. But his mom got him a whole variety of harnesses as it is

And I pulled the "stop the ride, I want to get out" lever!

It's a nice beefy harness. She goes face first into thorn bushes chasing things, so sometimes she needs a little heft instead of her usual. Her usual is just strapping harnesses so that they're easier to clean and dry after she goes face first into a mud puddle.

    Something like this.

PS - it was a pole dancing joke for your next job :D

    Brand new.
The factory log pops off with clips, just fill in the holes and reuse.

If anyone local wants a harness like this, let me know. We bought one for our dog and he's terrified of it so we've never used it. He got really good walking on just a collar so I now have a virtually brand new harness that I have no use for.

It’s definitely not normal to me. My dog rides in the cab of the truck like us humans.

can anyone tell me what I'm eating? Got a goodie bag of random stuff from a bakery last night and I have no idea what this is. It's bread with icing and sugar from what I can tell.

Some quick google tells me it may be PÃO DE DEUS but I am not 100% on that.

PS - there's like 3 more containers of baked goods and I can only identify what 2 of them are, I think. So I will be asking more questions

If you have no local takers then let me know. Our 57 lb black lab mix goes on hikes with us in Acadia and the last harness we used we had on her for about 7 out of 11 miles. She was quite unsettled during much of the hike which was not normal for her. We finally took the harness off but did not discover until the next day that the new harness she had been using had chafed down to raw skin in a few places under her legs. We were not good owners but I think she forgave us. She is part mountain goat though as some of the trails are quite challenging and we have had to use the handle on her harness before to help her up part of the trail. Most of the time though she does great, even completing standing 5 foot jumps up a granite trail!

    Bread of God? :notsure:

The only Portuguese bread I'm familiar with is pão de queijo (cheesy bread) which is pretty good.

Yeah I will absolutely be having fun googling all this stuff. I am 0% Portuguese. There's so damn much too. One thing about Portuguese/Peruvian people - their serving sizes are....generous. There's a restaurant down here called Los Andes, it's really good, but we accidentally ordered a couple empanadas as an appetizer. They came out and it was the size of my head. Then we realized we had already ordered the meal before we knew that ....

The lunch menus are the real key down here. They're pretty good about portion size for lunches.

45lb catahoula with all 4 do (dew?) claws. Technically she can climb trees, but we never taught her that younger so she only goes up a little bit then backs down. If it were to chase something she could clear a 5ft wall.

Before her I had never heard of the breed before, but a female catahoula is probably my forever dog choice.

In my experience, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian people will actively try to fatten you up rather than starve you. Machupicchu II is also a good Peruvian restaurant. If you really like Spanish food, also check out Mi Guatemala and El Charro.

This came from La Antigua right up the road from Mi Guatemala! I gotta get out and try some more places in North/Western providence. I'm even working on my spanish now. Unrelated, but trying to get it back.

Am Italian. Wife's family is Italian. Was great, last weekend we had a family reunion on her side, and they said "oh yeah there will be food" "Wonder what they're gonna have??"

My response: It's them. Chicken parm, meatballs, and lasagna, in 90 degree heat outside.

    Sure enough....

    (Yes I know chicken parm....)

    Congrats!

As referenced above, am Italian. But if I go to any of the Italian bakeries in providence I can guarantee I would be a solid 4-5 out of 10 in knowing WTF things are.
