I recently purchased an 09' with 100k on it in great shape, all except for a slight scraping noise that's correlated to wheel rotations. I'm hoping its just a rock in a rotor type problem, but can anyone think of anything else that could cause this cutting/scraping noise that's in sync with rotations. Praying its not differential related.

Just looking for advice on how to diagnose the culprit, thank you!

Does it change as you speed up and slow down? If so then it could be a wheel bearing. Could be a caliper came loose and is scraping the inside of one of your wheels. Lots of things could cause the problem you’re having so I’d take it to a mechanic.

Get it in the air, start spinning tires and try to get a better location on the source. Shooting in the dark otherwise.

Could be worn brake pads allowing the warning tab to scrub on the rotor...

I appreciate the feedback, the brakes are at 50%. To clarify, the sound isn't a constant scrape when driving, but rather as though there is point on the rotor hitting another point off the rotor. Every wheel revolution produces one scrape sound for a second, so as I accelerate the rate of the sounds speeds up. Kind of like this haha: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02OB1jFmpTI

    This.

You could even do 2 at a time instead of lifting all 4 wheels off the ground.
