For the Dunes two strokes are the way to go as it’s fun to keep them in the power band. Honda FourTrax are really sweet as you can toss them around a bit. Had a Jerry Hall built Suzuki 500 Quad Zila with all the goodie’s and it was 100% setup for the Dunes. But one New Years weekend night some drunk A hole stuck a 44 in my face as he thought I was the one cussing at him in Spanish. Hell I don’t even know how to speak Spanish! It was two guys behind me, that was it. I road back to camp loaded up to leave first thing in the morning. I haven’t been back since!
Really like to get a Hayabusa powered rail, light and nimble. The only problem is you invest all the money then your lucky to go 6 times a year. I actually interviewed for a job in Yuma and could have moved but there’s not much there but the dunes and river. I will just stick to MTBing.
