You never know, there are lots of manufacturers that think its cute to put a fill bolt but not a drain bolt.... those never get changed.

 

The D60s I have don't have a drain so I assume it's due. I think it's part of why the ratcheting I feel is more and more noticeable. I'll replace it soon. Any recommendations?

I probably still have a bottle of Motorcraft XL friction modifier for the factory LSD if you'd like me to check

 

I buy the gallon jug of STP in the proper weight at oriellys and make sure to dump in the ford friction stuff if it is a clutch based LSD

 

Did Ferd put anything other than the clutch type in their D60? I haven't dealt with many but everyone that I have, has been a clutch plate style

 

I'm not sure, he has a specialty outfitted van so I thought they might option something more robust like a torsen

 

I got a factory elocker but anything 08-10 and down is probably a clutch LS

 

That makes sense. I've never worked on a Ford newer than 04 lol

Trying to fix a handle where the customer dropped the saw on it... Lotta bending it back into shape involved

 

Is it prohibitively expensive? Would think fluids can't be that bad.

When I did my coastal bumper build, it only took me a few minutes to make the decision to delete my resonator. Made bumper install a pain in the ass since the mount actually goes through a hole in the bumper...

If this was a CNC cut kit, I'd definitely opt into cutting some factory parts off.

Since I'm individually cutting each piece from steel plate, I can be really flexible and make the underside of the wing fit 'around' the muffler.

I wouldn't be against cutting it off, I just don't know how much louder it'll get. Maybe it's the old person in me but I like the quiet exhaust note of my 80 series.
