Toyota tacoma 2006 fluids

After a couple previous posts and suggestions, this tacoma is Ready for full maintenance, like I mentioned before, got this 2006, 4cyl, 2 wheel drive, 5 speed manual transmission, 237,000 miles.
All fluids look great and drives beautiful, but i am going to just perform a complete change of fluids.
Here are my choices, if you have any suggestions, please advise.
Oil: mobil 1, 5-30
Oil filter: mobil or toyota? I have both, suggestions?

Transmission: Redline MT-90 GL4( 3 quarts)

Rear differential: mobil 1 75-90 GL-5 (3 quarts) the book calls for 75-85, i am going 75-90, any advice?

Any info on fluids capacity?

I purchased and undercoating product, honestly don’t feel like sanding or doing major preparation to the chassis, its a Florida truck. Can I apply the undercoating straight on the chassis like it is? Please look at pictures.

Please don’t use that rubberized undercoat, that’ll just trap moister and rust everything a lot faster. If you don’t live near the coast I wouldn’t do anything to the frame since you live in Florida. But it looks like the previous owner already sprayed some of the rubberized stuff on your frame already.

I would just used fluid film then and spray it all inside the frame and out. Fluid film will actually creep underneath the rubberized stuff and it’ll eventually come off or make it easier to come off.

Just YouTube “Rubberized undercoating will destroy your car” and you’ll see a bunch of videos on it.

 

Mobil 1 75-90 diff lube is fine. I use same grade in full syn Valvoline.
Oil is good; consider high mileage version next time; any full syn brand will do.
Either oil filter is fine; Mobil One will be better for extended oil changes. I'm an oil filter slut; I get best perceived deal - I currently have a Purolator Boss or Wix XP; I don't remember which, it's black and the label is turned away.
How's the brake and PS fluid? If very dark, consider flushing them. Coolant?

 

Wich fluid film you recommend? Any brand? Picture?

Fluid Film is the name of the product. It’s in a red and white can or you can buy a gallon can and use it with a spray gun.

 

I found a red can and black can, this one?

Yup that one works, also come with the wand for doing the inside of doors and body panels. Only difference between red and black is the color, the red can is tan or straw colored. Only draw back is you need to do the Fluid film once a year. Here's a video featuring the woes of rubberized under coat.

Any advantage of red over black?

 

If you want another option, Blaster Surface Shield. Looks like it replaces Corrosion Stop which is what I have. Also have the red Fluid Film. They are virtually the same as far as I can tell. Available in Home Depots.

 

Thank you, honestly what I want is something to apply as-is, according the pictures i posted, don’t want to deal with surface preparation, I don’t have a lift. I am looking for something to apply that is better than applying nothing.

 

No surface prep required for fluid film or similar products. In fact a light amount of surface rust helps it stick to the surface, and it will stop any active rust dead in its tracks.

Quick question, it has some areas if you look in the pictures it has some rubberized protection. Should it be removed with a wire brush? Is just applying the fluid film on top will be enough?

You can just spray it right on that and it will work fine.
