1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

Thinking tomorrow I'll cut some more parts of the wings out so I can figure out some gussets.

I've got this oddly shaped + 2' long piece of steel left over from the wing top panels I want to utilize.

It's currently in my scrap pile -

 

The 80 sounds good uncorked, but it WILL drone without a resonator. However that is an awful spot for a resonator and you'll bash it anyway. My 80 is loud and I've had a resonator for it that I havent put in, been sitting on the shelf for 3 years haha

Can you shorten the exhaust pipe some and turn down the tip before the bumper?

It's an inline 6, hard to make it sound bad. But getting everything to fit and a smaller muffler is tough, other than the manifolds, none of mine is stock. I had it tucked as tight as possible.









Then I had the cat done again with a 94 Supra CARB cat since the original ones I picked sucked ass

 

Guess I could just cut it, and figure out exhaust routing later.

Just showered up so I rather not get under my LC right now but I'll need to look tomorrow to see where it 'unbolts' and work from there.

My cat is tucked in and 'caged' by my rockslider.

My 4.7 didn't get noticeably louder with the resonator delete, but can't speak for the 80 series. Really glad I did it. The GX got REALLY loud with the cat delete and header install though. Need to look into adding a resonator back now...

The oven on our Samsung range stopped working. It must be 10 years old. Called appliance repair to get a service man to look at it. No go, because too hard to get parts. I guess I'll be buying a new range.

 

Nobody repairs Samsung appliances. Like their phones, they are disposable overpriced garbage. LG is the same way.

GE/Frigidaire/Whirlpool gets my vote. Kenmore if you still have a Sears nearby.

 

Apple ovens would be cool

 

Until the new version comes out (or an update) and it no longer bakes at above 250 degrees or have more than 1 burner on at a time so you're forced to buy a new one.
