Sir, This Is A Wendy's, also written Ma'am, This Is A Wendy's, is a catchphrase used to deflect overbearing or subjectively annoying statements or questions, as well as comments that are bizarre or irrelevant. It's an offshoot of the Sir, This Is An Arby's meme and was first used on Twitter in 2012, though it has a likely origin from a 2008 episode of The Office. In 2020, an exploitable template emerged that used a SrGrafo cartoon showing a disgruntled Wendy's cashier talking to a customer. The template was used en masse for anti-memes and ironic memes on Reddit, among other platforms, going into the early 2020s.

Allis Chalmers developed a fuel-cell tractor in the 1950s. Was driven by a 20 hp electric motor. That company was way ahead of it's time, they developed all kinds of technology, from mining equipment to submarines.

We had a Allis Chalmers 44" walk-behind mower made in 1961...that was still in use in the mid-1990s by who we sold it to. Annual oil changes and new belts every couple years...and that was it.

As far as I know it's still in use.

    *sigh* Nope.

I'm gonna ballpark that rig as heavy as shit, and even with some really really efficient motors, you'll get 2 mi/kWh at most. You can also estimate the earth's solar influx at 1kw/m2. The roof area looks to be about 2m x 5m, or about 10m2, for a possible total solar influx of 10m2. Max possible solar efficiency, might be about 50% (most panels are somewhere around 20% with no signs of improvements, at reasonable cost) but let's say you got 50% for 5kw nameplate. You'll still only get 10 miles of driving per hour of sunlight. Nevermind using the AC/heat pump, powering your fridge, etc. Oh and gotta find the hot sunny spots instead of the shaded ones.

Not me, I'm sure the first flight will be volunteers only. Would suck to be on that plane and have the pilot announce that the battery supply will be short by a couple of hundred miles from shore.
