@CBAD18Taco made me an offer I couldn't refuse on some lightly used Bilstein stock shocks and struts from his TRD.

Will these just fit on my truck or do I need to make some modifications? Will it lift or end up lowering my truck?

Any idea of what I can expect from them ride wise should I choose to swap them out?

Bolt right in. It should be a softer ride. I think it will result in a 1" lift, but that may be wrong, info has varied on that from what I have seen.

If you have a 3rd gen truck, all the suspension components are interchangeable and will work. They will not lower or raise your vehicle at all. (With the exception of front TRD Pro struts and the 'Factory' or dealer installed Bilstein lift trucks. Or some other dealer installed lift. )

The only differences are shock manufacturer and valving. Sway bar size and spring rates. All factory 3rd Gen Tacomas have the same ride height ( excluding above exceptions )

For some reason I have it stuck in my head that the OR was 1" up on the SR and SR5. I like your confidence, so I choose to believe you.

This is from the 2017 Tacoma Product Information pdf.

Ride height is only different with the Pro. And only in the front.

Exactly what I was looking for thanks. Any idea what I should expect from the ride? I carry a lot in the bed all day, would these shocks handle the weight similarly to what I've got or better or worse...

Thanks so much for the info

You already convinced me, don't go getting pushy by bringing facts into this.

Rear shouldn't change, leafs are carrying the weight. Front should be softer.
