You brave soul. Did you do an alignment yourself afterward as well?

I really like how lifted trucks look don't get me wrong but I feel like once you do a lift, it will never be the same and you'll open another can of worms.. from decreased handling, reduced fuel economy and ride comfort, little unstable in turns due to the higher center of gravity and so on..
If you do off roading then sure but I don't so for me it will be just for the looks..
If it comes down to it then 2" lift is the max for me in the future but then again my daughter wants my tacoma once she gets the license in few years and I don't know if I want her to drive a lifted truck as a first vehicle..

I feel like 2” is most I’d go as well. I think tacomas with like 6” of lift just look silly.

dont know if toyota makes them - these are aftermarket, I guess someone might jerk off their painted ones to put these on, maybe in Hawaii

Been lurking for too long without contributing. Time to make a change.

    Accomplished
    1. Extended Factory Battery Cable
    2. Cable Maintenance – much more still needed
    3. Permenatley Mounted Voswitch Panel – couldn't be happier with the location.

If they are actually metal it would block the BSM radar wouldn’t it? Is there a package with backup sensors that doesn’t also have BSM?

Sorry I just saw this, they are the "smooth with rhino lining" version. The coating seems to be holding up very well, and it looks really good, similar to the matte finish of the stock off-road flares.

Not quite sure yet. So many options out there, I wouldn’t mind just getting the TRD pro lift second hand just to save some money but who knows when someone will be selling a full set. Plus I’m not sure I’m ready for a lift quite yet. Currently living in North Dakota so it would serve pretty much no benefit as there is essentially no off roading here.

OEM? I think the OEM ones are metal which is why they aren’t offered with parking sensors

Edit. I see the other post now.

I have tried both husky and weather tech and found the weather tech ones better.
