I love those too! But I was able to swap with another Tacoma owner who had the oem taillights that I like. Best part was it was free. With my total tails from meso I am pretty content for now.

TRD Catback is a little mellower at idle and a little louder above 3500k or so. It's on my want/ to do list.

    Mounted my ultra gauge.
They have the instructions on their website to calibrate it for 2016+ now - pretty easy and takes about 5 minutes fiddling to understand and get the layout you want.

I decided to put it on top of the driver a/c vent. I can still look easily without any obstruction - yet in my face so my eyes don’t wander too far while driving.
Perfect timing that in came in too. I’m going off road tomorrow and wanted to start reading trans temps - if I see an area of concern I’m gonna retire the OEM trans cooler, go larger and add an auxiliary fan

Successfully sold my OEM tonneau Cover on Craigslist (I KNOW RIGHT!?) for only $150 (booooo). BUT I traded the plastic bed rail from my OEM (pre-notched) with the guy for the uncut version *snort* which was a $400 value at my local Toyota Gouging Parts Department ($250 online). So overall that's a win because I didn't have to buy more stuff.

Anyway I got a UnderCover Flex (no ultra) and OMG it's SOOOO LIGHT HOLY SHIT GUYS. I got so tired of the OEM cover being so damn heavy all the damn time and slamming all the time and then not opening all the way and making it impossible to get stuff from Home Depot or that one time I rescued a motorcyclist off of a mountain and could barely fit his shit in the bed. So this is a huge boon. I'll be curious to get a car wash and see how waterproof it really is though.

But right now the truck is full of IKEA boxes and I can take them to the recycle center and I'm very excited.

I really like how lifted trucks look don't get me wrong but I feel like once you do a lift, it will never be the same and you'll open another can of worms.. from decreased handling, reduced fuel economy and ride comfort, little unstable in turns due to the higher center of gravity and so on..
If you do off roading then sure but I don't so for me it will be just for the looks..
If it comes down to it then 2" lift is the max for me in the future but then again my daughter wants my tacoma once she gets the license in few years and I don't know if I want her to drive a lifted truck as a first vehicle..

I feel like 2” is most I’d go as well. I think tacomas with like 6” of lift just look silly.

Been lurking for too long without contributing. Time to make a change.

    Accomplished
    1. Extended Factory Battery Cable
    2. Cable Maintenance – much more still needed
    3. Permenatley Mounted Voswitch Panel – couldn't be happier with the location.

If they are actually metal it would block the BSM radar wouldn’t it? Is there a package with backup sensors that doesn’t also have BSM?

Sorry I just saw this, they are the "smooth with rhino lining" version. The coating seems to be holding up very well, and it looks really good, similar to the matte finish of the stock off-road flares.
