Thats not really what im talking about but thats ok. i wasn't talking about anyone specific in this thread. Im saying in general for example op says he wants to go LT then someone comes out of the woodwork and says id go with x brand in x length for xyz reason. All the while using their frame of reference like they live on west coast in the middle of a desert where that would make sense. While lets say the guy in question lives on east coast with tight trails and just wants a little more wheel articulation for climbing over boulders instead of high speed stuff. Guy who came out of wood work still saying i wouldn't go with X kit and would go with Y still because they are running it and its what works for them. And if you dont do that you should never go LT in first place. A very small example of what im talking about. I think we are talking about 2 different things in this thread haha.

I guess in CA its illgal to have tires sticking out from fender? Glad i live in a state where we can basically mod however we want without restrictions. Personally i dont like the look of wide fenders so im glad i dont have to run em. I just cut mine high so tire didn't smash into it. I like poke :D

Id say get what makes you happy man, don't need validation from anyone here. I do support making an informed decision. Id look around here and read some of the content before you buy though. If you wanna go fast then buy a kit that goes fast lol. If you wanna crawl buy a kit narrower that's more suited for that.

My buddy literally drove his linked/exo caged crawler on 40s with tires 2ft out of the wheel well 5 hours on the highway with no issues down in CA, no cop no stop lol. I dont live in California, but the handful of times I've been its pretty typical to see prerunners/crawlers on the streets. Offroad scene is huge there and especially with todays politics, I dont think cops care.

Lol! Must of been lost in translation.

I grew up in PA, lived in AZ for 20 years, one of the reasons moving there is to be closer to the desert scene and Baja, have been in Idaho for the last 8. Sure every area requires different builds. Though I think heavily modding a daily is silly at this point. Need a dedicated trail rig (whatever that is) but that is just me…

How in the world do I acquire a 3 inch lift all the way around without any janky parts(blocks, spindle lifts)? Especially curious on the front

I don't know anyone except for the guys rocking Rough Country lifts and 20" moto metal wheels who would actually suggest 3" of lift in the front.

Leaves no droop travel, you're going to hate it the second you drive on a gravel road, speed bump, anything. I think 2" is about the max lift up front even with mid travel goodies to maintain any ride quality. I'm probably 1.75" up front, 1.5" out back of lift. Accutune'd 2.5's, Icon RXT's, etc. Rides great on road, still tops out off road. Going to add limit straps so it doesn't feel so terrible off road.

The guys quoting side by sides aren't wrong. There's a gravel road that leads to a lookout point at a popular south east off road park (Windrock). It's nothing terribly rough. My truck beating it to death can go up that hill about 20-30 mph. My buddies side by side (Polaris Turbo RXR) can easily do 60mph up the same stretch.

Correct but if I wanted info on side by sides or anything of the topic I simply would have sought after relating information. However I reached out to the community regarding info on tacos, don’t see how this helps anyone on this site

Same, I'm only about 1.5 over stock upfront and limit straps are a life saver/don't hear the 8'' of travel begging for mercy
