It’s a lot of commitment to go with yellow when the goal is resale for the original buyer.

I remember when TVs and Microwaves had dials…

Do most of the cooking in our household, since my wife can burn water, true story! Used to be a diehard gas range guy, then the new house had a glass top cooker. Thought I would hate it, but find it is much more precise than gas, ended up loving it. So much easier to clean. Next range is going to be induction.

It is. But for me I don’t care about resale. We used to have bright Orange VW bus, kinda miss the fun colors. Was considering a Ram truck since you can order them in bright colors, however not a huge fan their products.

Of course I have MGM Taco, pickin’s were slim on the base model.

My parents ordered an orange VW bus back in 1976, when they lived in Switzerland for 4 years. They named it “Julius”. They ended up with an all white one, that retained the name, that I grew up with. I never found out what happened to the orange one.

We had ‘a 73 Westy for 8 years. Sold it to a restorer in the Netherlands. Only vehicle I ever made money on. Deal went relatively smoothly until the day of the transporter coming to pick it up. Long story short he was a complete knucklehead.

I refused to sleep in that front hammock that snapped on to the A and B pillars. I always imagined it failing in the middle of the night.

Lol! That vehicle still had all of that, and believe there was something for the poptop too. Canvas was trashed though. Supposedly it was also the original paint. A Porsche/Audi mechanic owned it before us, engine was hopped up a bit. Fast for a Bus.

I see that Overland Explorer is doing something similar on their campers. Albeit a wee bit stronger.

What do you guys think about the Jeep Recon scheduled to come out in 2024? It looks like a decent size SUV. Pretty similar looking to a Bronco. I’m not sure why Jeep is so obsessed with removing the doors on everything though.

    Looks pretty generic to me.

Honestly the only thing that would perk up my interest if someone brought old school back.

It kind of has a little bit of a Scout look going on but with an extra set of doors.

It isn’t bad, buuuuut. Ford challenges Jeep Wrangler with the Bronco, so Jeep turns around and makes a Bronco clone???….and both look like Scouts to me, not a horrible thing, but…
The can, really dug the Forward Control concept tho’. Van version of it would of been pretty hawt…
