On a different note...

Yesterday, I delivered race tires to the race shop on my route. Once I get everything unloaded, the owner says "you've gotta come in and see this". I walk into the shop and what do I see?



Freshly restored, in for dyno work. Friggen thing is beautiful! Tank is signed by the man himself...Scott Ru$$ell. This is the endurance bike.

I barely had time to get a pic, had deliveries to make. Wish I'd had more time to look it over. What I did see looked like it was as good as the first day Muzzy unloaded it at the track. Shop owner was hoping to get some good numbers on the dyno. Bike's owner just wanted it to run better.

 

Oh. my.

 

I've never been a big Yamaha fan, but I love the T7. I honestly don't have a reason to not be a Yamaha fan to be honest....no bad experiences or anything. I've even owned a few YZ125's

 

I think this bike was recently sold by Iconic. It's a piece of American road racing history!

Guess I shouldn't have taken that extra 80 mile loop home from work...thought I'd still have enough tire to make it to work tomorrow...

Have the replacement in the garage, time scheduled this weekend to do the swap. This one lasted almost a year.

Not sure, I think about 6k. Pirelli Diablo Rosso III, that's what I usually get on a rear.

 

Rode the Grom into work the last two days, nothing like scraping pegs on the way there and back. Somebody also painted my name on a rock. They must have thought I was a 8 year old girl or something.

 

I know there's some Ed March fans in here (C90 Adventures on Youtube), he started a new series where he bought a mini-jeep and is going 1000 miles across Utah. Had me cackling at a few points. He swapped in a 190 daytona motor that apparently puts out 25hp

Parts pickup was a success. Pegs are going to be way better. And the screen, well all i really wanted was the visor, but have to do some test runs with the screen

 

throw some yellow laminx on that screen
