I also use this method and couldn’t agree more. I do however bring them in a little when off-roading. It helps when you run into others on tight trails when you have to back up to accommodate squeezing by one another.

i had some WT on my 2018 sonata they where more plastic than rubber when i bought it they where great no curls stayed like new till i sold the car. i was stupid no to take them when i trade it n to give it to my friend.
now i just have the OEM toyota liner they are more rubbery but keep the floor.

Rav4 has a built in convex at the top left which people reported didn't set you see your tires so I went with these. The convex is adjustable on these too, it's not a on the Rav4.

The spotter mirror kind of acts as a BSM in itself. Not sure if that was the reasoning or not?

Noico sound deadening on all doors and the rear wall, JBL speakers swap on all doors, tweeters and sub are stock.

And of course upgraded to the TRD Air filter for that extra 50hp

 

Yeah that is the best option but they are sooo overpriced even on used...

 

3 years on weather tech in northern vt in my Tacoma. No problems no curling. In all my vehicles since moving here swear by them. I agree that the other products I have looked at were a hard pass. To me, weather tech is a one trick pony, but as long as it's floor mats they're great.
Had huskys crack mid-winter, discovered in spring, huge mess of salty mud, surprise!

 

The Blind spot radar sensors actually fit into the little round holes you see near the top of those caps--so no, there won't be a problem (I have installed a steel bumper and my BSM sensors still work.

 

Might be a climate thing. They do not like the heat in AZ. Everyone here complains about them curling after a summer or 2.

Vgate terminals. So far, I'm pretty happy with them, especially considering I plan to add a bit more wiring once I upgrade my battery. My only comment is it feels like you have to over-tighten to have it feel secure.

 

The BSM radar are two large squares that sit at an angle, behind the caps, on the farthest corner of either side of the bumper.
I believe you are referring to the parking assist sensors.
I’m glad your BSM still works with your steel bumper as that’s not the case for most.

Edit: Oh. Your BSM works because you have one of the only brands of steel bumpers on the market compatible with BSM... Apogee off-road
Those plastic caps on the corners of your bumper? Those cover your BSM radar because they don’t work through metal.
