    You know what really grinds my gears! :annoyed:

    Mowing today I got to watch a crew patch a road for the 3rd year in a row! Last year one of the workers said it's going to end up just like it was before they started patching. They said it was going to save the city money as redoing the whole road would be way more expensive compared to paying people to redo sections 3 years in a row :rolleyes:
    The road rides and looks terrible with all the stupid patches :mad:

    The outlines and red zig zags are previous patches. Notice how they totally miss the old tiny patch where it's crumbling next to the new sections. They aren't fixing that spot as it's not marked with paint to show its bad!:bananadead:

    I mentioned it to dad and he mentioned that sometimes the semis are too heavy for the road and actually damage the road underneath it which they fix as they go. Just creating more work as they go! :facepalm:
