    Oh look, another mod....
It's finally football time, so...I made bar-style food:

Jalapeno's stuffed with cream cheese, wrapped in thick cut applewood bacon, with Chip & Queso (topped off with a lot of pico de gallo).

Sweet and sour chicken. I cheated on this one and used Chick-fil-a nuggets.

Are you pre cooking the garlic confit before spreading it on the bread?

I remember this now. I’m definitely trying it.
Are you just using whole cloves wrapped in foil dry or adding oil?

Whole cloves, peeled, with the root ends trimmed off, covered in Olive Oil and simmered on the stove top for like 30 minutes until they float. Take them out of the oil and mix with the other ingredients. Save the garlic infused oil for something else. Making mayonnaise or salad dressing.

    20220118_165536.jpg

This time I added room temperature Butter, shredded Parmesan Cheese, chopped Parsley, Kosher Salt and Black Pepper and Red Pepper Flakes.

I'm sure foil wrapped whole bulbs would work just fine too. Seems like more work that way.

I picked up a 6 ounce bag of already peeled garlic cloves from the Walmart and all I had to do was trim the root ends (they won't break down)

Previously, I had just spread the mixture on the bread and toasted in the oven for garlic bread.

This time I decided to make a grilled cheese sandwich with it!

    Spicy Tasso Corn Casserole

    20220917_150800.jpg

Started by chopping up some Tasso, Green Onion and Red Bell Pepper.

    20220917_110705.jpg

Heated up some oil in the Dutch Oven and started sweating the Red Bell Pepper, Green Onion and Tasso.

    20220917_111105.jpg

    Added the Corn

    20220917_111905.jpg

When the vegetables are softened, added in some softened Cream Cheese.

    20220917_112144.jpg

After the Cream Cheese melted, removed pot from the heat and added Sour Cream, Cajun Seasoning and chopped Parsley.

    20220917_112606.jpg

Once everything was combined I added it to a foil pan and into a preheated oven for 30 min

    20220917_112834.jpg

    The final result!

Never heard of it or made it before but it fit the theme for the Party Garage. It was meant to go in the smoker but Mother Nature decided we needed some rain this morning.

It was definitely a hit with the crowd!
