It's less Tacoma and more mod
It was definitely a moment of "are you sure"... but then I was like fuck why not, I cut the frame into bits and frenched in springs...

Now it's still daunting but exciting.

I hated driving my Acura at night for the same reason. Guess thats why everyone and their brother drives with their brights on these days.

Yeah I wasn't even thinking about it when I got it, and I don't want to be one of those assholes, they're a huge pet peeve of mine.
Also my lights move when you turn, which is extra distracting at night. Not sure who thinks these things are safer or more beneficial. Glad its not just me getting annoyed with it. You sold the Acura though right?

I absolutely love the lights that turn to illuminate where you're going it's pretty neat, I've avoided pedestrians under bridges in my dads car that I'd have splatted in my tundra

Mine have notches in the top of them, so you see these big shadows that move across your field of vision...you naturally focus on the big black squares moving across the landscape in front of you. I'm sure when done cleanly they can be good for some people though. The bummer is if you don't like these new leds/projectors etc, your new vehicle options get pretty slim pretty quick it seems.

Yeah, traded it in on a house payment so to speak.

Id like another one someday. But the home renovations need to be done first.

Those are always the best. Feels good to have your own Cheers bar where everybody knows your name. I always get take home beers from the "try my beer" pile or messed up food orders.

Having a shop mount my 33s this morning. I’ll need to go home and do the pinch weld mod and cut my bumper some after they’re done.

The dry rotted 265/70R16s I was running had punctures on two tires last night so that was fun waking up to.

The amount of rodent nests under here is rather daunting.
