The strawberry banana cheerios are great though. Been eating them to try to help with my cholesterol.

As an encouragement to you guys, when I was in my late 30's I got pretty doughy from riding a desk, when a business partner invited me to try a workout class he had been attending. It was a Krav Maga school, that included conditioning classes, and I loved it. Within 3 or 4 months I had dropped 30lbs (from 180 to 150) and was in the best shape of my life. That was 20 years ago, and although I haven't been u!tra consistent with excercise, I've never put much weight back on.

The moral of my story is find something physical that you enjoy doing, MAKE time for it, and discipline yourself to stick with it. You will benefit from it in countless ways for the rest of your life.

    Rant over. :anonymous:

I’m realizing I appear to be older than most in here. Having gone through rehab twice, I learned it’s not overwhelming yourself. A good workout is ~30 minutes. They should never be back to back days. Your bodies recovery from the workout is where the benefit is. This is why bodybuilders have arm days, leg days, etc. work with something reasonable you’re comfortable with. Increase your rep count if it gets easier. When your rep count gets to 30, add a pound or the next increment and start back again at 10. You’re not trying to do anything more than elevate your heart rate above normal/idle. Treadmill, rower, bike, stairs, whatever…. Know your heart rate resting - try for 20 above that… do it for 15 minutes. Treadmill… hit the end of your speed? Add incline. It’s really not that hard. You don’t even need equipment. Just walk the property… 15min. Fast enough to elevate heart rate. Push-ups, pull-ups, leg lifts… there’s info out there. Since I saw knee… google knee rehab for light specific exercises…
    Be well.

    Speaking of health and exercise...

Got my blood panels back from my appointment yesterday. Guess I better get back on that bike and start lifting again.

My good cholesterol is low, my bad is high and my triglycerides are over 500. But that's still better than the 1200 they were about 15 years ago.

    Just the truth.
I always liked girls a lot - the problem was they didn't like me much... :notsure:

Styling by International Harvester has disadvantages I guess.

I just got back from Aldi.

They had pumpkin spice honey butter.

    I told my wife.

    She said "yum".

@BussinGus we still work out, at work we do things every shift and I work out side a lot, all my hobbies seem to be out side :bananadead:but I now at 43 don’t bounce back as quick as I did 20 years ago. Used to work a fire and be up all night come home and have no issues, now I miss some sleep from running calls and dam tired next day. Still can out work most around me so that’s a plus. ( unless they are sandbagging:anonymous:)
