The ID of that URD base plate was opened up to allow for the threaded sleeve to be pressed in. @XPOTRPR did the machine work for me.

I’d encourage you to read all 19 pages of this thread and then re read them again. There is a lot of info to soak up here.

Press to fit - perfect! I dropped the transmission from 2200 - 0100 this morning, then read these pages over and over lol. This is absolutely amazing! The hydrobearing lasted 6 months, I think I've put 520-ish miles on the truck in the last 3 years. I still have 93 non ethanol in the gas tank from 3 years ago. I was so excited to drive the truck again, then splat, the Clutchmasters kit blew. I honestly might purchase all of the parts and add to this awesome thread!

Can't like this post unfortunately. Only advice I have is to order your parts now and be prepared to wait. I'm still waiting on the piston from Tilton and the speed bleeder from Summit. No ETA on the piston and the speed bleeder got pushed back to 10/15.

Hello everyone! The sales department has let me know that Tilton has discontinued part #62-612...
The new part # is Til 62-6122. It doesn't look available on the Summits and Jegs size sites, but I've been assured if we call in the new part #, it would be available. I got lucky and my local dealer actually had 62-612. It took me so long to post because I've already had my money returned twice from sites that claimed they had the pistons in stock and they did not. Happy hunting, cheers!

I have a stupid question...for the pistons mentioned above, TIL-62-612, it says that its a set of 10 pistons. We don't each need a 10 pack do we? Wouldn't one 10 pack be enough for 10 of us?

I put a call in to summit this morning, but the purchasing team isn't there on the weekend. I should have more info on Monday re: the new part number.

Not a stupid question - some sites don't have a picture available, but each of the 10 pistons are different lengths.

Gotcha. Thanks for clarifying. I had a feeling that might be the case.

It's a strange listing description. As long as the part number is correct, it will just be for one single piston.

Good intel that @BillDaCat8 can add to the original parts list for future buyers.

I gave up on the speed bleeder through Summit. They have been updating my back order on that part for over 6 months. I'll do without it as Bill clarified that it's not imperative to get things up and rolling.

Interesting, I'm wondering if Jegs will cancel my order for the 62-612 or if I'll get a 62-6122 instead from Tilton.

They'll email you and let you know once they figure out they don't have it in stock. The 2 companies that refunded me were Jegs and FRSPORT.com
    Good luck

Just received Tilton 62-612 - if you run the Clutchmasters kit... IT IS THE EXACT SAME PISTON....granted, I didn't pull out the calipers but just look at the pics...but, sadly the "10 piece" advertised on all of the sites is only 1...not a problem!

UPDATE: pulled out the calipers, the Tilton is 4mm taller, all on the wider profile.

i gave up and had the hose ends cut off and re-crimped with -3 ends. Getting -3 speed bleeders was way easier.

I have a couple parts from Kasbien’s kit that you can have. He sent them to me to test fit on my rc62 swap.

I have the anti rotation tab with bolt and washer, the shoulder bolt is installed on the tab with head cut off for easier installation and the plastic plug for the slave cylinder hole. Shoot me a pm when your ready.

I have tweaked things a bit since then.

Have your parts come in yet @Rezkid ? I gotta get back on this stat. Work had me hating machining outside of my daily machining paycheque. Admittedly, I lost motivation on the kits because of it.
