Fresh outta da shelter from 3 hours away, #schugahbear a blonde/honey/creme schipperke, 7yo lady with a tail!

 

Looks like she settled in quick!

Just returned from a 9 day trip with "Santino" the 12 year old GSD in our 2016 Minnie Winnie 22r. Dateland Arizona, Tombstone, Zane Gray RV Park near Camp Verde, Sedona Arizona, Parker Dam on the Colorado River.
12 hours of Rain in Sedona, thunder and lighting at a couple of stops in Arizona, hot as hell in Parker with swarms of flying bugs at Parker at sundown and sunup. Santino and his dog mommy were troopers. Returned home to San Diego today, 5 hour leg. Strong headwinds around Palm Springs on the 10, so much so one of the windmills outside of Palm Springs caught fire. A couple of beers chased with JD and I am ready to crash.....

 

He really wants my breakfast and not his...

Good morning at my local Humane Society.

We've had a lot of dogs adopted the past two weeks. Only four in the shelter this morning. The least amount in two years.

Four great dogs. The all black one, Roxy, has been here over five months. Such a good dog but unfortunately black dogs stay a long time in shelters.

Riggins, the husky/shepherd is a puppy who is recovering from a broken leg. Has had his cast of for three weeks and is really coming out of his shell. Is still pretty spooked by everything. He didn't have much interaction with noises or other dogs even prior to his broken leg. He's a good boy but will need some work.

 

Here is my pup Diamond.
Diamond is a 2 year old who loves to go hiking and destroying boxes. Lol

 

Roxy looks like such a sweetheart. Hope she finds a forever home

 

She's such a good dog. Very sweet, loves people, is good with other dogs in certain situations. She can be a bit reactive and is very strong but would do amazing with the right owner.

 

Here’s one of the rare times I caught my whole circus in one photo. Athos is the corgi in the bottom right, Ranger is the healer/corgi mix in the top right, Artemis is the solid black husky/mix of some sort in the middle, and Blue is the newly fostered GSD creepily staring in from outside.

 

It was a lazy Saturday afternoon. I wonder what she is dreaming about.
