I’m sure you’ve already accounted for this, but give yourself a little extra clearance when the tire is stuffed. The tubs will add back some dimension after panel thickness, welding, seam seal, paint, etc.
From your last photo it looked like the tire was right up against the cut edge of the firewall.

I have no bumpstops in right now, so everything is more stuffed than it really should ever be, but I am going to cut back a little more of the inside edge

good god, could fit a six pack through that hole. Is this a tire clearance mod or front entry beer window? :D:D

I think if it didn't get patched back up it would be a mud entry window haha.

I'd highly suggest more cutting. It may be fine, but this is what was needed to clear my 315s... it would SUCK to go through all that and end up still rubbing.

I'd probably have to cut more fender and wheel well for SAS... to get the ride height and articulation I'd want to get out of it.

SAS really isn't the magic fix to everything like people make it out to be.

You end up having to chop the frame off and rebuild it with an arch unless you like sitting stupid high and having no uptravel anyway with a SAS. It's a lot more work than people give it credit for to do properly at least

Looks good. Bringing back memories... or triggering PTSD, depending on how ya look at it.

Not my favorite project so far, it's a good intro to body work though. Other than these pictures no one has to look at it.
