Ken: Have a great vacation. I need to look into a Mississippi River Cruise. We have taken Alaska Cruises twice and both were fabulous. I would also like to go to Hawaii with the wife. I have been there once but the military would not let us off the plane. Refueled with everyone still onboard.

Mark: Same reason we took out a 0% loan over 72 months, from Toyota Financial Corp, on the Avalon.

Arm is a little tender this morning from my second shingles shot yesterday. I do not know if I will be doing a lot today. Wife and son are off to the Annapolis Songwriter's Festival today so it will just be the cat and me at home. I can see an extra-long guitar practice session in the works for today.

Thanks Tom, hope you can get a good cruise in. A neighbor and his wife booked a Germany river cruise and it was canceled due to drought and river levels to low .
Alaska is ony agenda as is the Trans Canada train trip. When you get to Hawaii, enjoy it and take a lot of pictures. Travel is good and too any places to see and not enough time to see them all.
    Have a great day Sir.

    Good morning fellow Porchatonians!!!

Finally making progress of the basement bar - hopefully the contractor will finish up his stuff on Monday or Tuesday. I unloaded the last two cabinets for the bar from the shipping pallet and carried them downstairs and cleaned up all the packing material. Went to the local hardware store to buy 2 wheelbarrows we donate for our church festival's Wheelbarrow of Cheer and Tools and saw a gorgeous Blackstone Griddle Cooking Station while I was there. Drove home, told Lynn about it.....drove back and bought it. Today I'll clean it up and work on seasoning it and enjoy one of the last days by the pool for this year.

I thought so. Mimi and I were there the other day and I was quite impressed with that place!
I haven't been there in years!
Was the black lab puppy there?

    No, I missed the puppy!

Brian Mushel and his wife bought the business a few years ago. They've continued the expansion and upgrade, purchased some properties around them to be able to expand and warehouse goods, and surfaced the parking lot this year. Brian and his wife are awesome - Brian worked there for many years before buying the business. I give them as much business as I can.

I'll bring a fold up camping chair. Yes please to a beer, as long as it isn't one of those IPA's.

The ACE Hardware special a few years back. I have one that is a little over two years old now. You are going to enjoy cooking on the Blackstone. Lots of decent recipes on YouTube.

    Welcome to the porch Bill.

Today is a laid-back day. Off to the farmer's market for some produce and cooking a chicken this afternoon.

Missed 20 or 30 pages (since early August) due to a move from Arizona to Knoxville. Not going to check them out--too lazy. Thought I'd check in.

As I noted in a thread in the 3rd generation section, navigating in a big city is a PITA. Gas mileage took a big hit. Not sure it was worth the move, but I did it to keep SWMBO happy.

That's a good start on the woodpile Bill, winter is coming!
