    I usually don't remember to look at the camera, it seems so unnatural.
    When hooking up the trailer however it is the greatest thing since sliced bread. :thumbsup:

    Hunt? Used to be rabbit, some squirrel, some dove. Never did the duck or deer, but I do like eating them. Favorite is deep water fishing…

    Just for the record... a dude from Iowa was the inventor of the bread slicer... in 1927. Otto Rohwedder was his name.

    Probably for the best -- we reluctantly have to admit. ;)

    Some years ago I was in for my annual and grouching about things hurting and not working like one does occasionally, so my doctor who is old enough to be my kid leans over and very quietly says "you've got to understand that you aren't 30 any more". :mad:

    Well, I was mad enough to spit nails. :rant:

    Not that he said it -- but that I needed to admit it... :pout:

    Nah, he’s still a toddler (under 10). They get to be about 3’+ around 15-20. They only make it to ~40 I think.

    I took the door off to remove the hinge so I could measure the bore. Moved both hinges and could have sworn I saw dust float out from both. They also had a slight hitch at closed that seemed like they’d pull the door into the cabinet.

    I pulled out the always messy and staining dry graphite spray and lubed them up.

    Smooth as a baby’s ass :thumbsup:

    Wife approved :thumbsup::thumbsup:

    Lesson learned today- When it moves but not as expected, lube it up :anonymous:

    TLDR version: Turkey, deer, and coyotes mostly.

    Totally long winded version for a lazy Sunday... :D

    We are allowed two bearded turkeys in the spring and one of either sex in the fall. I only hunt them in the spring when they'll come to a call. I also like stalking them with a fan from a previous harvest. This year I called one in on opening day, hunted my butt off for the next few weeks without an opportunity, then stalked a nice tom on the last day of the season.

    Deer is Oct 1st to Dec 31st for archery, with a week for shotgun or muzzleloader in Dec. I'm lucky enough that I can buy an extra tag for where I live, So I can shoot a deer with a bow and a muzzleloader. I hunt alone for deer with a crossbow :anonymous:, and do drives during muzzleloader with the same group I hunt coyotes.

    Coyotes are open season, but we only hunt them when there's snow so we can find them and track. This might be my favorite (except for the lack of meat). We all have radios in our trucks (and on us when walking), and we all have specific routes to drive before daylight in the area we hunt. We check for tracks crossing the road and circle the concession to see if the coyotes crossed into another area to try to narrow the location. If we don't see any out in the fields, we'll make a plan to do drives based on the tracks. Three or 4 sets of tracks usually fills a day. There's a lot of fun banter on the radios, and it's a good mix of cruising around munching on snacks and stomping through impenetrable swamps. We average 20 - 25 a year. Depending on what you're doing, or where you're blocking could be a shotgun or a rifle, so a good variety there too.

    Man, that was lonnnngggg.
