I decided to go a different route so this bumper kit has to go. Aluminum bumpers are costly. If you look at fully fab’d aluminum bumpers from Demello or CBI, for example, you’ll be looking at $2200-$3000+. So if you or someone you know are able to work with aluminum, this would be a worthwhile way to get a very strong and light bumper for reasonable cost.

Kit is the extreme clearance model from Coastal Off-road and is optioned for 05-11 model years with a center hoop, but it should also fit 12-15. Detailed instructions are included.

    No longer for sale.

Bump. The money from this is needed to fund a different bumper.

That’s a good looking rig and bumper, almost makes me consider keeping this. Bump, whoever buys this will be saving close to $300 and ends up with a super beefy and light-weight bumper.

Thank you. Had an ARB before this and was always getting hung up on shit. Now, no mo getting hung up, at least on the front end.

This. All the advice I’ve gotten with this bumper involves using a spool gun. It’s unfortunately beyond my abilities too. Part of the reason I’m selling. That and modifying it for fiberglass.

    Free bump!

Coastal Offroad makes some real nice DIY kits with instructions that are too easy to follow.

With as accurate as everything is that they cut out, I'd suggest someone TIG weld this.

Ignore my bad painting.. haha but you really cant go wrong with these.. It got well used in Moab and didnt even flex on some really hard recoveries

    20220408_191029.jpg

Ended up pulling out a crawler here that was in Hot tub in hells revenge.. it was heavy and enough that it put my front suspension to my bump stops.. bad angle for a Tacoma to pull just due to the design of our frames. this bumper again didn't move.. it would of ripped off most any other aftermarket bumper just using the 6 bolts.

How much did fabrication cost after you bought the kit?

If someone buys this, I'd love to copy the dimensions of the parts.

In return they can use/borrow my spoolgun; just provide your own gas and wire.

Always welcome to my spoolgun if ya need some place to weld it yourself.

Just bring argon and some 1lb spools.

Be cool to see that thing firsthand.

I would have bought this but don’t have the tools, skills, or space to build it — that said, I’d love to see a pic of it when you’ve finished it.

Thanks gents. I have no welding experience yet, thought I had someone who could weld it at the time, but its a skill I plan to pick up sooner than later. I'll report back here when I got this thing all assembled. I'm overdue for starting a build thread too.

Update. Found a local to take on the project, and here’s what it looks like tac’d together. Can’t wait to see it full welded.
