May help if you included what tire size you planned on putting on those wheels too. Kinda important.

One other poster on this thread vaguely mentions 16" that he used a spacer on (no clue on year of rims), and I'm more interested in the TRD's that I posted from 2020. I wouldn't even be in this tread if it didn't pop up for 16" on first generations.

Must be totally confused on what threads you are replying to just like the first meme poster. I'm not seeing how I'm bent out of shape by meme posters that are not even related to my responses. And I'm not exactly sure why you keep going on with this internet tough guy stuff? Are you the vanquisher of projected tough guys?

Was more interested in what others have had success with in regards to the 16" TRD's (2020) on a 1st gen.

    4 run, 2 don't
    Huh?

Only mentioned the internet tough guy thing once; you got me confused for someone else.

As for "2020", it'll have the same difference from any 3rd Gen wheel to a 1st Gen wheel.

The wheel ends up sitting closer to the frame, and has caused rubbing on the inside of the frame depending the tires one runs.

This thread gets a little more specific -

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...er-toyota-wheels-on-my-1st-gen-thread.563416/

There are tons more threads; pick your poison.

Ahhhh, I have to say something on this topic. ThumperGo, you are fighting with a few guys here that really go out of their way to help others on this site. Actually, they aren't fighting with you, they are trying to answer your question. Why the hostility? All the information is clearly available to you, if you use the search function. Yes, it takes a little time and effort (sorry), but you will learn a ton. Spend the time and do the research. You could easily have found everything you needed in 5 minutes.. I did, it isn't hard. Bashing on these guys will cause them to not be available in the future when you really have an issue, not just wondering about wheels.
Bottom line is this, don't be an ass. Listen to what people are asking and pay attention to what they say, YOU are the one that doesn't want to do the work and needs help.. So be nice. Treat people with respect, BECAUSE THEY KNOW MORE THAN YOU DO!!. If you can't do that, then get off the site. You aren't adding anything of value here, so stop wasting peoples time..

I appreciate your virtue signaling. If you look directly above your post you will see wikvette was able to direct me to the right direction and I thanked him.

Looks great. What size tire do you have on it? Did you have to do any mods?
