I’m not sure you can delete them. You can override them with a new station, just manually tune and hold button tell it locks new station

Thanks Fishnwiz. I just bought a 2017 Tacoma. I'm just laughing at the fact that Toyota doesn't allow preset stations to be deleted. It seems like such a nbasic function. Again, Thank. Jerry

Go to settings, general, scroll to bottom, delete personal settings. This will erase all the previous owners information, radio pre sets, phones, nav etc.

I reset every used car I inspect, its lazy when shops don't do this.

The people that don't do this themselves are the same who don't wipe their old phones or computers, are the same who just toss their unshredded credit card statements in the trash.

It makes me wonder if I'm the paranoid one. :spy:

    I even document this.

Your truck stores your address, work address, kids school, even simple things you search for, you gotta delete it.

Think about homelink for a second. It’s scary.

No not paranoid. I have lots of younger friends who have resolved themselves to the fact they will compromised despite their best efforts.
I still try, but after having been part of two state government data breaches in as many years, I'm like wtf , no matter what I do my state govt will give up my info through inept security.

Thanks for the radio preset info. Gave up on deleting my presets, now I will just reset everything. Fortunately where I am located there are only 4 or 5 stations and one is in French out of Montreal. I am getting better at understanding conversational DJ in French ftw.

I lived in Lamoille County for 10 years. I got 1 station on FM I could actually listen to. The rest was country or radio evangelists. Thank goodness for SiriusXM or I would have lost my mind. I was stuck in VT too, but I got out :)

I do :) I lived in Johnson, worked remotely from home. Was in the village so I had half way decent internet.
