Attached is a YouTube video of the issue, this noise just started yesterday (09172022), i contacted my father who is a life long mechanic and currently works at a dealership and he says it might be either the timing belt/serpentine belt, pully. In the video I am parked and just revving the engine in the beginning and at the end it is a constant rev. Any ideas or experiences with this issue?

Information with my vehicle- 2018 TRD Off Road 4x4, bought it less than 20 days ago w/ 65K miles, I take it off a few times a week nothing crazy just a few sand trails and dunes.

I agree with Dad. That sounds like a belt or pulley.

    Oh look, another mod....
I would bet all of my Star Wars collection that it's a bad/loose belt. Except for Boba Fett. No matter how right I am, I never bet the Fett-man.

If you determine it is the Serpentine Belt, here is a video of a guy changing the belt on a 3rd Gen. He leaves the video running in real-time so you can see how long it took him to change the belt.

yep, definitely a task anybody can tackle. I am no mechanic and I was able to do it in 35mins. Getting the belt around the fan blades was the 'hardest' part for me. I kept my old belt as an emergency spare to keep in the truck.
