I typically don't run the heater throughout the night, although with the handy remote I've been known to fire it up at 0300 to take the edge off... The heaters can be set on a "Hz" mode that controls fuel pulses per second. I don't recall the specifics, but I think at 1.4Hz I am pumping on the order of 125ml/hr which translates into like 32 hrs per gallon of fuel.

definitely like the design on this. I'm going to give them a follow and see how it ends up! the price point makes it pretty tempting as well.

Until they have a prototype in their hands, it is what it is - vaporware.

Here’s another awesome option. I’ve seen them in person and can confirm they’re high quality all aluminum campers.

Interesting. Double popup option seems to be specific to which style you order. I like it but like all the others, there are pros and cons. No windoors or ability to have a toolbox style side door like I have with my Tradesman. I've gotten very used to having my chuckbox/kitchen ready at any time. We'll have to see how these do in the wild.

If I'm paying thousands for a setup it's going to be what I want and structurally as sound as possible from the get go. I'm no engineer nor a metal worker.

I've had a Flippac, FWC, and now the Tradesman. For me, the current setup works fine. I do like wedge campers and the lead up to the creation of the Vagabond followed a similar progression in campers as I've had.

But once you add powder coating, windoors, and a rack you're over $13k USD.

Pretty on par with other companies out there. Build time is far shorter than others as well. Good to have options.

Probably not the place for this, but here goes.
I’ve just returned from a short trip and as I contemplated the shutting down of those mentioned threads, I began to wonder what avenue to use to find out helpful tips, not to mention seeing build ideas and implementation(though my build out is minimal by intention). I find it interesting to browse around seeing what others do. I liken it to leafing through a magazine for interesting things.
So, upon my return, I see this post and it makes me wonder about a thread for builds/mods/etc. (Or is there one or more I’m missing: I know about a couple generic wedge ones) No reason we should all reap the consequences for others (allegedly) bad behavior. It reminds me of the leader who punishes all just to be sure he got the one who was the problem and therefore everybody feels the pain. Sheesh!
I can’t express how much help the two (Vagabond) Drifter threads have (are) been for me over the past couple years of owning one and my gratitude for those who post what they do.
Is there any reason there can’t still be a Drifter buildout etc. thread? Doesn’t have to be affiliated with Vagabond per se and thus should be okay from that perspective. Just thinkin’.
Thanks again to all who’ve helped me tweak my Drifter to my use and also entertained me along the way.
    Happy Trails,
    Rod
