I have a deposit in on a pro. It will be $300 under MSRP. The dealer called the other day saying they have a ton of SR5s coming in, and that they'd put the Toyota lift on any of those and knock $1000 off MSRP. So they know the market is cooling, and they're selling tons of cars by not taking advantage of people.

Let me guess you are located or should I say the dealer is located in the south west.....? I have yet to find a dealer in the south east even selling at MSRP without a bunch of junk (my opinion) dealer options.

Correct. It is what it is. 59K for a PRO isn’t even that bad from what I’ve seen. Most people won’t pay that, but that’s irrelevant. You need 1 person to pay that. That is where the market “clears”. When you buy a stock, you’re the highest bidder. Same for a house. Same for this.

Also saw a Tundra TRD Pro in Knoxville- obviously 25-30K markup. It was in the 90"s

milton Rubin in Augusta told me they don’t do markups at all even on the Pros; the problem for me at the time was they didn’t have an upcoming allocation.

Well Knoxville is south east for sure. Indiana is not. The Indiana pro is the first on I have ever seen in person for sale.

Ask for Philip; that’s who I was working with. He seems like a good guy.

They know they will get that if not more if at least one customer wants it so they take advantage plus add dealer accessories to bring up the price

I see they have a 2022 in lime green listed as in-transit but I don't see a 2023 Solar Octane. Can you fill me in on how I can see this info for other dealers....? I was hoping the inventory spreadsheet post would be updated to show the 2023's but no such luck yet.

You can change the zip code

    then filter for manual pro

then the list that comes up is all the manual Pros allocated with in that distance at all the dealers within that radius

default is 25 miles but I changed it to 100 miles

then click on each dealership individually and it I’ll show if they have an allocation

you have to contact them quickly

I called one today and the white one I found had literally sold earlier today

it won’t show up on their website as in their current inventory

the white one was at $8k markup so I wasn’t too disappointed

I’d check that website pretty often

    my pleasure

I’ve learned a lot during this process, most of it from this forum.

I think by the time the Pros show up listed on the dealer websites they’re almost all already sold.

the lime green one I’m buying shows up on that explore Toyota website now; doesn’t say sold even though it is.

but you have a better chance using that site than checking dealer inventory

Anyone ever use the chat or text feature on the exploer.setbutatoyota.com site.....? I wonder what access to inventory they have or info they will give out....? Trying that now, I'll report back what I find.
