    Because of our extremely hot summer the city authorized the trash, compost, and recycling services to begin pickup ops at 0530 instead of 0700 so they could spend less time out in the heat.

    Our neighborhood is the beginning of our particular truck crews' routes.

    Our garbage guys come through early too but not because of heat. They have so few employees they had to rearrange the routes and added like 20% more stops to each route each day vs hiring another crew to take on the extra.
