First ride back since the crash. Went ok, still plenty of pain but I can hold on ok.
Rebuilt the Decoy with a mullet setup, was a ton of fun.
    Bones and ligaments are ooohhhkaay.

Woah that's a wild shuttle trailer! But also practical AF assuming width non-issue on the access road

Yeah I actually randomly met them while riding dirt jumps and the relationship evolved into them coming into town every Fall to refresh trails before Fall Fest. Good price and solid work

Also I rode Jarrods Place Bike Park first time this weekend. It was cool. Definitely great for the Atlanta riding scene, hopefully this will be a catalyst that scene can benefit from, there are a lot of riders but not many places to ride

They've maximized the elevation available in the north georgia area. I was very impressed with the speed of shuttle trucks, too

Place is great, only been once. Those black diamonds at the top are real deal and the flow jump lines are great fun.
The second wooden jump there on senior discount is where I went OTB...

Also IIRC on air supply is where some people are being clocked at close to 40MPH. :bikewheelie:

Did my second 12 hour race Saturday. Got in 7 laps on the course, giving me 83 miles and 7100’ of elevation. And, a wicked dirty tan line from the spectacle! Ha…. Had a great time this year, beat last year’s distance and have determined next year I’ll camp out at the event for the weekend to take in the experience!

    47FE5DD0-702B-435D-9099-77B5699DD490.jpg

Also, the derailleur was backing out a bit and shifting was horrible by the end of the race. Yesterday, when trying to make the adjustments, the derailleur cable slipped out up into the housing. I tell you, I try to learn more about the simple adjustments and I make things worse! damn it! Hahah. Oh well, off to the shop to fix my mess.

got out to crusty butt this weekend. rode park most of saturday with a friend that moved out there. ran into some of his local friends and whew they're fast. didnt get any pics or vids cuz i was spending more time trying to keep up.

only 1 fall coming out of a rock garden after chugging a pbr tall boy on the lift up, again to keep up with the local boys.

there was a collegiate race so captain jacks and psycho rocks were closed. gave us some breather time in the lift line, which i heard is the longest line anyone has seen.

    still had a blast.

also, those Amazon special pads i put in the rear don't work too well when they're hot. rear brake felt great in the morning, but was getting spongey near the end of the day

Probably not worth anything at this point. Tell you what, I'll pay shipping, just send it out my way and I'll keep an eye on it for you and put it through it's paces every so often. No trouble at all, really.

All seriousness, might want to list the size. That's a hell of a machine, maybe when I grow up I can get something that nice.

It's really not as much as the tension of the wheel, it's more the fatigue of the steel used for the spoke. If you break another spoke on the same wheel, it maybe time to replace the spokes and get it rebuilt. Of course, you can always upgrade the spokes. if I was going to stay with steel, I would upgrade with Sapim CX-Rays. Or you can go this route.
