    Check build thread!
Lowkey could probably 3d print something like this for 1/3rd of the cost

I like the option better than the adapters I am currently using. Don’t know I like it for $80 though.

Forgot my “nice” coffee/water vacuum stainless container on a trip once, swung by Wally World on the way to camp as an emergency, grabbed this…and has been my go to beverage holder ever since. Fits the Tacoma’s cup holders well. Don’t know what it is about Toyota, all the ones I have owned they can’t get it right. The ‘92 was kinda cool that it pulled out of the dash to hold 2 12 Oz soda cans…that is until you hit a bump, and soda would go all over.

I remember those pull out cup holders. Was a cool idea but they sucked lol.

Our 4Runner got it right with cup holders IMO. It has rubber inserts for smaller drinks that are removable for Nalgenes etc.

It amazes me the junk people buy for their truck on a daily basis on TW but they have an issue with something you will more than likely use every single time you get in your truck. To each their own definitely happy with it

No issues here, whatever works for ya. I don’t use those fat bottomed water bottles so no need for a custom cup holder. We all have different solutions for the same problem. I like the 32 Oz tapered bottom for my water, and smaller 16 Oz for my coffee, if I drink anymore coffee than that I am all jittery. :pccoffee: :D :p

My favorite coffee mug doesn’t fit in any cup holder. “Kinda” worked in my 1st Gen, on the cupholder I made sitting on top of it, with the change cup in front of it…just don’t slam on the brakes. So new truck, meant new style of coffee container.

I had a giant “spill proof” travel mug some years ago. I was driving my old VW Polo when it fell onto the floor. It didn’t spill, but it squirted hot coffee all over the place

A vehicle isn’t officially broken in, until you spill piping hot coffee all over it.

    Oh shit

I've been complaining about the stock cupholder since getting the truck. My drinks want to tip over all the time. Adding this to my folder of stuff to buy for the truck later.

    EDIT:
Okay I have waited long enough lol. #ordered

Same price as a 3D printed dual cup holder for the FJ80 so I think its fair given this is mold injected for an exact fit.

I get it but to me it was not just for bigger bottles it fits standard cups bottles etc so much better because of its design being deeper and round on the bottom. Always hated the factory cup holder in front all of my cups and bottles would tip to one side or the other just bugged me. Although I use a 40oz Coleman auto seal bottle daily for work have been for the last 5 years awesome bottles. Always got to me it would fit in the cup holder of my work van but not my personal truck. I never cared for bags people use Tacoma seats aren’t the most comfortable to begin with now either i or my passenger has to adjust because of a drink. The adapters are ok but they look and feel sloppy plus since your bottle is basically sitting on top of your cup holder makes it extremely tall. I had this on the back of my passenger seat worked well but my shoulders aren’t getting any younger reaching back so often got old. This wasn’t cheap but I understand the cost it takes for someone to manufacture something on a small scale and appreciate someone took the time and effort to make a solid solution to an issue I had. Those Stanley bottles you have are always pretty nice I have a few as well.

Actually I agree, on the flip side of that equation, many business owners are clueless about properly pricing their products as well.

I just constantly see people whining on here that if a business charges more than what the product costs in materials, its an utter ripoff. Mind boggling at times.

Question #1: Do I really need this? If no, stop wasting time reading this thread? If yes see question #2

Question #2: can I design / make it myself? If yes, have at it! If no, see question #3

Question #3: am I willing to pay the asking price? If yes, order away! If no, quit bitching about the size of the OEM cup holders.
