I usually screw a shitty tie rod in and paint that with it

 

At my old job they'd put in a bolt and hang it by said bolt for prep/paint to prevent from the threads getting painted.

 

If they’re looking for art, I can do some great welding for them. You can almost call it abstract expressionism.

yeah. That’s what I’m gonna do w all 6 or 7 or htf many there are. I’m so sick of painting. Have to do all the links, whole front of frame and hoops/tower brace in the next day or so. Been doing mad sucky shit lately. Nothing fun.

 

Times are tough, sometimes you just gotta man up and delivery some pizzas if you don't wanna lose the barn. Question is, is there a light in the in the dominos sign or is it a candle

 

I feel like this would cause some issues with their "delivered in xx minutes or your pizza is free" policy

 

Maybe it's a brick pizza oven dominos

only services the Amish, you can lay with cash or Hand baled hay

 

So after talking to them about the design, it's basically the city's idea to implement these sculptures, mainly the train one, because of some 150th anniversary

When discussing welding it and all, there are a lot of points I mentioned that they hadn't thought about IE actual dimensions, the use of any recycled goods (I mentioned a harley davidson headlight for the front of the train as an idea) and more.

They're glad I'm quickly able to grasp the idea of the design better than they initially did but I still feel like it's going to be quite a bit of work

Anyway, going home to come up with ideas on parts I'll need, more specifically steel, and let them know soon all I'll need and see if the city signs off on it

Budget comes from donations, including girl scouts organization and a few others

I'll be paid for time, consumables, etc.

 

Like they bring the oven to you in the back of the cart...?

 

No like it's a dominos in the isle of an Amish community, that's cooks said pizza in oven at store and deliver it in horse buggy.

and it's a small community so delivery isn't an issue

 

Is it just me, or do joint social media/email accounts between couples scream like a cry for help?

That's a cool job I think and that kind of art stays visible for a long time. A lot of the art installations I grew up with on Mercer Island are still on display some 27 years later.









I always liked that the city marked all of the public art on a map and gave the artists a place to write about them. The last two are all steel.

 

are Amish even allowed to order or eat pizza? I thought they had to make all their own food or something
