    I was talking about this today with a friend and he said "electric plane yet they limit the size of a battery I can bring in my luggage. Why is it safe for them and not for me?"

    I said they also limit the amount of jet fuel you can bring and that there's a difference between a manufacturer installed battery that's inspected by mechanics and one you've stuffed in your luggage with god knows what else.

    As long as it's gone through testing I don't care what goes in a plane to keep it in the air.

    I'd make terrible financial decisions for either of these. I wouldn't care how it was powered either. Too bad a forward control anything won't likely ever happen again.

    Yes? As long as there's redundancy in systems and the range of travel is about 50% of the battery range. And it's properly certificated.

    I’ve been seeing quite a few Rivian trucks on the road lately. I think I’ve seen every color now and the forest green one looks pretty nice.

    Saw an R1T and a R1S on Saturday, about a block apart, and both in the darker green color. Thoughts: R1S generally looks better than the R1T (probably because it looks more like a normal SUV than the R1T does a normal truck), although I still hate the headlights. The R1S is also larger than I'd expected, as it looked longer than a 4th-gen 4Runner it was driving near.

    edit: Also, dark green is just a damn good color. Always was my favorite 1st-gen Tacoma color.
