El Camino LS swap as well. Replacing the power steering pump on it.

Is that the black one on the lift? I was trying to figure out what it was.

 

It is actually a 1963-1/2, because the fastback roof line was introduced mid year.
Also introduced mid year were a pair of 11.5:1 compression ratio 427 cubic inch V8s with either single 4 barrel carburetor (410 hp/476 torque) or dual 4 barrel carburetors (425 hp/480 torque).




Compared to the more formal "box top" early 63 hardtop.

 

And the C1 'Vette.

I really wish my brother would have kept his Chevelle, at least until I was old enough to have driven it once.
