    Tales of the Jedi looks like it's going to be amazing. Clone Wars but animation level greatly improved.i hope it's not just a rehashing of things from the books, but if it is I won't be mad. There better be a Thrawn episode. I just want a Thrawn series tbh. He's far and away the most interesting character in all of Star Wars imo

    I'd prefer 6 stand alone episodes. Not everything always needs to connect. The galaxy is too large for the same 30 people to keep bumping into each other

    Hate to break it to you but Thrawn wasn't actually a bad guy. Rebels did him dirty, he was far more nuanced a character than they portrayed, but he had other things going on that conflicted with his loyalty to the Empire.
    Right after the last episode of Rebels he was supposed to head back to the Emperor where Palps was going to kill him. There is a new threat to the galaxy that I'm convinced Ezra is going to be helping Thrawn to fight against and that will make for an AMAZING story

    Gotta say, I'm not hating that there aren't new Star Wars movies.

    First, the stories they're telling in the extended format (even BoBF) are really good. There's time to let things develop that doesn't exist in movies.

    Second, the last trilogy of the Skywalker Saga was hot fucking garbage. It looked the part, but it seemed quite low effort. Story was SERIOUSLY lacking. Fail.

    Third, new movies need a structure and subject matter that is movie worthy. So unless they retcon 7-9 or go back to the Sith Wars (some Sith/Jedi open warfare is big-screen worthy) the longer narrative format of a D+ tells a better Star Wars story.

    Agreed. I think too much content cheapens it, MCU right now is absolutely crazy. At least StarWars tends to only have one show going on at a time.

    No movies definitely helps lessen the blow of the final trilogy. Hopefully they're taking their sweet time and developing good stories for the next movies
