Adapt and overcome. $18.95 and we’re spraying :bananadance:

Does anybody know if you can reduce the pressure on these cheap pumps? This one is set on 60psi.

If I had as much trouble sleeping as Rusty, I'd 100% be dependent on something to force me to sleep, ie alcohol, prescription medication, other medicinal outlets. Back when my little girl wasn't sleeping much I was a straight up grump.

The problem with using "helpers" is you have now swapped one problem for another. ;)

As usual part of the majority of the problem was me...

In addition to my youthful issues of not being able to fall asleep was my (equally youthful) opinion that sleep was wasted time between working and working. For years I said "2 hours or 6 is the same to me" not realizing that it truly was because I was constantly exhausted.

When I got the machine and for the first time in decades could actually sleep for a few hours without pain it was a tremendous shocker how much more awake I felt during the day.

Far later in life I did some studying and discovered that your body is doing some pretty major repair work when you sleep, just like any other piece of equipment with deferred maintenance your body doesn't do very well over the long haul.

You could put a T in the output side returning to the tank and use a valve to adjust the amount of return.

Probably want a needle valve for more accuracy over a standard ball valve.

I cancelled the order and my payment has been refunded.

Any bets that it will still be delivered?

When I was writing that post, I was thinking about adding something along the lines of “unless someone in your family has one”

Sorry to your mom and everyone else that has to use one. Thankfully, it’s not one of my ailments and sleep for me is fairly decent.

Did a search and found there’s a pressure screw under the cover. Unfortunately it doesn’t slow the volume. I may have to put a 1/4 turn valve in the line to slow the volume down.

Personally... I like the self check outs. One less person I have to deal with... never have to worry about their lack of training, their attitude or their judgment!

The only thing I don't like is having to bag stuff and set it on the thing so it will let you scan more. I went to the grocery store last week and had 8 cases of water, started in to self checkout and the attendant stopped me and told me to go to a person

She said "it goes by weight when you scan it, it will be a lot of trouble" :frusty:

I like the ones at Sam's, it's simple, don't have to unload anything and get to use the scanning gun. Only problem I have is when I get home and my wife ask me why was this item scanned twice :anonymous:

Not a fan of the self check out. If in a rush I’ll use it then take my 15 and call in a clean up on aisle 5.
