Just got my OTT tune yesterday. So far so good. I live in albuquerque New Mexico and John Brewer is the local tuner doing this tune. Super friendly a knowledgeable. Did a great job and only took a few minutes. If it keeps driving like this it’s worth every penny. No more gear hunting and holds gears perfectly. Can’t wait to do some towing with it.

Thanks Joe! I love it when customers drive their truck for a while, get tuned and see what they’ve been missing and have a big smile on their face. Please let me know if you need anything else.

Hey, new to this forum and didn't feel like searching through the entire thread for an answer. I'm assuming these tunes can accommodate for other existing mods done to the engine, such as intake, exhaust, headers and adjust things accordingly correct? I like the numbers I'm seeing for the 4.0, even with 87 octane. I've done some research and apparently, these engines are pretty finicky when it comes to mods and like to throw codes for simple bolt-ons. Will your tune account for any issues that may come with that as well? I'd like to do the mods I plan on doing to the truck first and then probably get it tuned to maximize my benefits. One other question, does your tune raise the RPM redline or delete the speed governor at all? I didn't see any mention of this but wanted to ask. Not really too concerned with the redline but wouldn't mind having the governor removed if that's an option. I'm located in SEPA, so it sounds like MasterYota would be my best bet to get my truck tuned then.

Allan will be around the Tri-State area one week from this Sunday (18th).

I plan on going from Med/Mild to Lite/Mild...I've had fun with my sensitive throttle so I will see how the Lite OTT tune compares.

Excited to meet Allan for my 3rd OTT Tune on Sunday...this time to downgrade from Medium/Mild to Lite/Mild this weekend.

I've enjoyed the active throttle since June...I'm not a "Racer" but have enjoyed launching at times from a stop light.

Drivers in sport sedans are probably impressed with my acceleration capabilities. I actually responded to a situation where a 2-door "Merc" was gonna go around me "swiftly" but I cut him off at the pass. lol

It's annoying when people in "Racer X" type cars do stupid moves in traffic.

    EDIT: Merc=Mercedes

Got the OTT tune done today and super stoked on the performance. To me it is better than the OV tune I had on. I have 5.29 gears and run 275/70R20 and when I would tow my trailer up this one hill it would always downshift to 3rd and I thought that with the OV tune and gears it would help but was kinda the same. Now with the OTT tune I’m going up in 4th sometimes 5th gear. Cool beans!

Dave tuned my stock 2021 DCLB Sport w/OTT8 Lite on Sept 17.

I didn't actually think that stock was too bad, but a few quirks (gas pedal that seemed completely disconnected at times, lags, unpredictable acceleration etc.) pissed me off enough to go this route.

The most noticeable things to me are:
    1) the mushy pedal is gone. It's actually quite responsive now :)
    2) the lag/delay is nearly gone (e.g. the dead zone/pedal that happened after braking to turn onto another street and is greatly reduced)
    3) acceleration is linear. No more wild, psychotic and disturbing RPM swings/surges when you floor it to get up to speed quickly.
    4) shifting is smooth
    5) feels zippier

This is the way this truck should have come from the factory. Others have said this and now I know what they mean. It's so much more drivable, predictable and trustworthy. No more second guessing lane changes and merges in traffic - you know what the truck will do and when it will do it when you hit the gas pedal.

Looking forward to seeing how this settles in over the next few tanks and what the ultimate fuel economy will be.

I just tested it on highway speed...going 55mph...I hit the gas and the gears did not downshift.

The truck accelerated rather quickly but I wasn't too spirited with my throttle input.

Next up, testing it in S-mode.

EDIT: I'm still learning how to use GEAR LOCK. The truck drives great. I done forgot what it use to drive like. lol
