Not saying it doesn't look good. The whole side of the truck being covered in mud and dirt from just a few puddles got old for me with just 3.5bs wheels and no flares.
I've seen those pictures of your truck on a few trips where you're the only one completely covered head to toe

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

I think the wheels/tires sticking out looks great. I like the aggressive look. But, some of the trails we've done this year it would have presented a problem. We could have gotten through, but we would have been climbing trees to get between them.

I'm glad I have 4.75 BS wheels, for when I do long travel. I'd even consider if/when I do bead locks, looking in to a 5 inch backspace. The LT will widen the stance enough, I'm not looking to widen it any further than I have to.

Dusy/Ershim is now my new favorite trail, lol. Wide is not better on that trail.

Yeah that parts not fun. But worth it I think haha mostly..

Yeah won't matter what BS you have really with Lt. You're screwed either way with the mud. The fiberglass fenders don't really help with that.

But I found the width on trails is rarely an issue since really it's all tire poking out not the truck itself. So easy to work with. Plus still narrower than a 2nd gen so it's really not bad.

Yeah that trip wasn't fun to be like like haha

I think I'm going to go in a different direction than fiberglass. I have some ideas about doing DOM 'fender flares" / exo skeleton flares instead.

eh seems like a way of making it just wider and more likely to hit shit. But you do you.

I think tube fenders look great, especially if they tie in well with the bumpers and sliders. I'm not into the full exo look, but I've seen some creative ones that look badass.

Wouldn't be wider. Would actually be the same profile as the (stock) fender flares that are already there.

Thinking following the wheel wells (I'd open the wheel wells for clearance at the same time) something like this.

Attach to the sliders and bumpers.

That was just normal trail, no puddles. :mudding:You can actually see my truck behind him is relatively clean.

But you aren't wrong either. Same trip, different day. Last day Frank ever drove, actually.
