Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
I always ask How much of a discount?? The only answer I ever get why would you expect a discount ??

Then it never fails I used to manage to knock over at least one display coming around a blind corner . I am no longer allowed to shop there.

I actually like the self checkouts for the most part. I'm an introvert and socially awkward at that, so the less social interaction the better for me. Less anxiety that way...

Also you can check out stuff that would normally be embarrassing and not be embarrassed... :anonymous:

We just got a brand new TSC in town here. Went a couple weeks ago, shelves were a little lacking, but it just opened and the current situation makes things exacerbated...

I do need to pick up some .030 welding wire. Might do that Friday after my eye appointment. Or, I could stop by the Rural King and pick up welding wire and a hand gun in the same place... Gosh I love rural Pennsylvania...

Our car in question today is a 1968, the second year of the first generation.

Visual tells are the side marker lights due to a new for 68' federal law and also the oval parking lights versus the round ones in 67' and also the lack of vent windows, a 67' feature only.

On the subject of parking lights they probably go out when the headlights go on, this was common on all domestic cars until about 1969-70 when the laws changed to require them on. It often confuses younger people working on old cars.

The base model Camaro came with two six cylinders 230, 250 cubic inch or the 327 V8 with 2 or 4 barrel carburetors.

This SS package was the mid line car and included the special hood with the fancy louvers and the 350 small block (295 hp) or choice of three 396 big block V8s, (325, 350, 375 hp).

The top of the line Z/28 came with a special 302 cubic inch V8 which was really a racing engine in a street car.

MSRP for this convertible was around $3100 including the most popular 350 engine, $50 more would get the most popular 396 version.

Funny/sad/feeling old :pout: - I remember when these were $500 cars, running and driving. Dealers didn't even want them on the lot because they attracted "kids", adults wanting sedans and station wagons were better customers in their opinion.

Jim Croce 1943 - 1973 died in a plane crash.

It is odd this would come up today as it is the anniversary of his death. o_O

A talented man, gone far too soon.

We like it, but most of their stuff is....different, if that makes any sense.

I had his album when I was like 8 years old, I think it had a pic of his kid on it.

Aldi is very basic with no frills.

There is no deli, custom meat cutting, pharmacy, etc. Everything is always clean and orderly. The majority of their products are their own house brands and pricing beats the chains like Tops and Wegmans by a big amount.

Unlike a true grocery store they don't stock 4 brands of everything and carry virtually no slow moving specialty stuff like those number and letter candles to put on cakes for example.

It must be a decent place to work as well because the help seems to stay long term.

We have never been dissatisfied with anything purchased there, if you are they replace the product & also refund your money.

My son said everyone got a $25 tip last weekend when a local realtor rented the park for two hours before they are scheduled to open. I though that was pretty nice of them.

But to expect a tip? That's different.

No shopping bags so bring your own.

If you want a cart, bring a quarter. You'll get it back when you return it. Just leave it in your car for next time.

And my cashier wasn't that attractive.
