For instance, SL model is usually top of the line.

S and SE I believe is the lowest trim level with SV being in the middle.

What model and year? I know that everything I've seen in Maximas from 99 to current has a remote keyfob. There is an antenna for the remote with the antenna control module in the trunk on my 99 model.
