Hello! First post here! I just purchased a 2022 Tacoma LB TRD Sport 4x4 and need some opinions on a bed cover. I am debating on the SE or HD Diamondback cover for my Long Bed. My thought was I may be safer going with the HD given that the bed is longer and add stiffeners. I don’t plan on putting a tent or anything too heavy on there (guess you never know though) but do plan on loading / unloading a roof rack by standing on the bed cover. Will the SE be plenty for that or should I go HD and add bed stiffeners to help the cause? Any guidance is much appreciated! Cheers

I have the SE and walk on it easily. No noticeable flex or concerns but I'm only 170 lbs so I don't really stress it much

Another vote for the SE. The Tacoma’s bedsides are not strong enough to support the weight that the HD will handle. In other words, you’re not going to load an ATV on it without cracking your bed. The SE is plenty strong enough to stand on.

i opted for the HD, but like others have said, its overkill for what I need. I should have saved a few bucks and went with the SE. Buy with confidence though. they are solid covers and couldnt be happier with the fit, and the look.
