I actually saw it. My truck is an sr5 I recently installed a switch to control my usb in the center consol. (I Can charge a phone with the truck off if needed). Anyways we powered the switch with an add a fuse and low an behold the harness with the third brake light / cargo lamp was there. All I need is a switch and another 3rd brake lights w/ cargo lamp. About 200 bills. The switch alone is 75$ !!

No it’s wired all right. We even tested the harness it’s all there and obviously wired to the opening under the headliner.

The harness should black and plugged into the bottom of the dash in a dummy holder
Underneath the panel that you remove. That’s where mine is.
Ps. I need that panel too! Mine doesn’t have the rectangled opening

I must admit the plastic holders for the connectors are pretty cool. Just noticed that the other day. I accidentally plugged my clutch start cancel into the dummy.

Picked up a new AC a month ago with “bed lights” added as a port option ($149). It has the two lights by tailgate but 3rd brake light does not light up when bed light come on.

Is this normal or should brake light also come on? Funny thing is the switch is the standard switch with icon showing the 3rd brake light being illuminated.

Normal not to have bed illumination on an access cab OEM 3rd Brake Light.
    Switch seems to be aftermarket.

Thanks to all who posted in this thread to help me. All done with no problems. A little tough getting the panel out but used pry tool and after removing the blanks in the lower right, pulled and pried at the same time and it was out. Plug for the switch was "Parked" in a "holder". Toyota said i needed a blue relay switch but apparently, one was already there...

The taillight portion was a breeze.

Again, thanks for the assistance. :)

I’m going to be installing the bed lights on my 2020 SR, I bought a on/off bed light switch from CH4x4. According to the diagram of the OEM switch harness there are two cargo light wires, which is for the bed lights?
I’m not concerned about them coming on when the door is opened, I just pretty much need to know which is the hot wire to the bed lights?
And, thanks for providing parts #s for the terminals and housing

None on the drawing your quoting.
The wire from the relay to the Cargo lamp forks to the Bed Lamp connector also.

CH4x4 doesn't sell a compatible switch for door-off-on select that I'm aware of.

This is pretty much the diagram that I needed, thanks. The switch I ordered is on/off only, I really don’t want them to come on when door is opened

You'll need a DPDT switch just for ON-OFF. ECU needs (red wire) to go to ground when switch is "ON".

Well you could just tie blue (#5) to white with black runner (#7) with your aftermarket switch.:burp:
On-OFF anytime so remember to turn OFF when engine off or get a tow service contract.
