sigh. I just noticed a rattle today. I think it's the timing chain. Anyone else want to chime in?To clarify, I can feel the thump in the right hand head cover and a little less in the right hand lifter cover - so I'm thinking stretched timing chain on the right hand side? I am hoping someone else can help me diagnose before I start yanking off head covers.

I used four 32 x 18 sheets of Hushmat on the front doors, which included Tacomaholic's piece to wrap around the front speaker openings to seal and cushion the space between the speaker and door. 36 sq.ft. = 9 sheets of 32 x 18, so the front doors took a bit under 16 sq.ft. The rear access cab doors will take less than that, and should be simpler to lay out, but I'm going to wait on that for a bit and enjoy the thump test comparison, and the improved radio reception with the Wisconsin antenna.

Looks EPIC!! I love that national park. I have done all those roads also. There are so many great camps around there. Next time try to get the White Crack campsite. It is in the middle of the White rim road and you have the green and Co rivers right below you. You are making me jealous I didn't get to go to Utah this year.

Ya, I've got to check and see when it was last replaced. Might be time for a new one.

New sexx for the taco arrived today. Before install, need to figure out what wires to tap for my canopy tail. Anyone happen to have a wiring diagram for the 2nd gen tails?

...and they're in! Worth the $. Pictures don't do them justice. They are darker than the pix reveal. The red is not that cherry looking.

One strange thing... I threw on the parking lights and not only are they loud, but they vibrate too. Please tell me that's normal!

I noticed the same thing with mine, I think it’s normal for LED to make that noise, but did seem very loud

Yep, normal. Loud and weird, but normal. What you do think of the reverse lights? I think they are pretty bad.

Waiting for full dark to try them out. I think any reverse light is only good for letting others know your direction. Otherwise, I have aux lights in the bumper for real light.
