    Good evening, gang. I see that Weeza is in rare form.. I like it. :thumbsup:

    I got to install the epoxy anchors tonight, it's a bit of progress. It's dark by 7:30, tonight I was wearing my hiking headlamp to finish up the last 2 anchors. The rain is supposed to come tomorrow then it's going to cool off, alot.

    It's a chips and salsa night for dinner, I don't feel like cooking anything.

    I've never had one and I really don't think that anyone in the family ever had one or used one. I'm not against it, I've just never had one. I like my gas grill. I will grab something out of the freezer and put it in the fridge on the way out of the door in the morning, it's thawed when I gets home.

    You might like this- I have to model a catwalk for a thermoforming machine at work. I started with the ladder that they want to use.

    I was thinking about the easiest way to model this in Solidworks, so I made a profile in 3D sketch mode, then copied it and constrained them together, then used the weldment feature to extrude the profile of the tubing around the sketch. It's kind of like a loft, but the weldment is also generating a cut sheet and a BOM in the background.



    I started the 2nd frame with the treads, I will make them into a subassembly tomorrow.

    my crockpot is my go to if i know i'm going to be out running errands or even on the weekends when i dive into quilting - too tired at the end of the day to worry about any cooking. i have also come to love my dutch oven for a few recipes - just got that a few years ago. couldn't live without either one now. plus whatever i make in them usually works out to lots of leftovers - cook once on friday and just have leftovers for the rest of the weekend.

    zero experience with solidworks here. i'm an autocad girl all the way. that or give me a t square and a pencil and i can do my thing.
