Hi. I’m selling my prinsu rack and I was wondering what you guys used to seal up the factory holes and if you guys used any tape to cover up the hole afterwards.

I came to Toyota to see if they had the tape that covers up the whole but they don’t sell that. Maybe any water proof tape will do?

Sorry, trying to seal the crap out of these holes so water won’t get inside the cab.

Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

They do sell the roof drip moldings. They can be quite pricey for what they are. You can also find some in the marketplace sometimes.

Yeah, i know they sell the molding. Under the rubber molding there’s tape that covers the pre drilled holes.

We've used standard house exterior silicone before, then tape over with any water proof tape. You're right to worry we've seen water damage because of these holes.

Put a bolt in there with some weatherproof silicon is what I would do.

Not enough bandwidth on the internet to list.
Might need to silicone a set screw in the spot so there's no head to get in the way of the molding when it's replaced.

A blind bolt with silicone will seal the holes really well, followed by FSK tape would do the job.

Thank you guys for your input. I think I’m going to go the bolt, silicone and tape route.
