Fair point. Years ago, I was in Ft Lauderdale on business and went to this all you can eat buffet with the guy I was visiting. Picadilly something maybe? This HUGE (fat) guy came and sat near us with a full pitcher of soda and two heaping plates. The guy I was with was French Canadian, (transplanted to ft Lauderdale), he leaned over and with his accent whispered "Zere goes ze profets!" Probably had to be there, but for some reason your post reminded me of that.

 

Got my fiber laser put in place. Need to run a new 120 leg from my sub-panel. Hopefully I can get that done tomorrow after work

That is incredible -- a laser of all things, for about the price of a riding lawn mower...

I guess there are some things about the modern world that are pretty darn cool.
(even if I don't understand them...)

Bet you are excited, I can't wait to see what this is capable of.

 

It really is amazing how affordable some of these technologies have become.

Now if only the price would drop on industrial sized machines. lol
I had a call today with a sales rep to talk about specs and pricing on Brothers Speedio machines. Definitely need to build up some more client base before I make that jump.

The rain machine is turned on this morning as we usher in the autumnal equinox.

During an equinox, the Sun crosses the “celestial equator”—an imaginary extension of Earth’s equator line into space.

The word “equinox” comes from Latin aequus, meaning “equal,” and nox, ”night.” On the equinox, day and night are roughly equal in length.


The next full moon is called the "Harvest Moon".
Around the fall equinox, the full Moon rises around sunset for several nights in a row, which traditionally provided farmers with extra light to finish their harvests before the killing frosts of fall.

Normally, the Moon rises about an hour later each night, around the time of the fall equinox the angle of the Moon’s orbit and the tilt of the Earth line up just right and cause the Moon to rise only about 20 to 30 minutes later each night for several nights in a row.

This has been a drop of the useless information system.
