I'm a diehard Toyota man, as far as what I drive, been driving them for 26 yrs, but I don't pull for Toyota teams only. I've been a HMS fan for almost 30 yrs, now just a 50% HMS fan, can't stand 2 of the drivers.

I have been a diehard bowtie guy my whole life but have had a lot of Toyotas as daily drivers. Younger was all RCR and hated HMS but switched when Dale Jr went to HMS. When Dale retired I was already following Chase and just could not bring myself to pull for Bowman. I mean I don't dislike the guy he is just about as vanilla as they come. I now pull for Chase, respect the talent that Larson has but also get frustrated with him. more so this year. Could careless about the 24 and really find the 48 irrelevant. Mr. H should have put Corey in that car, if for nothing other than the story of him writing a letter and asking to be considered. Plus I feel he is one of the better talents in the garage and just want to see what he can actually do.

spot on! Dump the 48. Corey deserves a chance. Given unlimited resources, I think he'd be way better than Bowman can ever be.

I can't stand House arrest Motorsports. Never liked any of the drivers except Terry Labonte.

Don't be hating on MR. H! Anyone with as much money as he has did something shady to acquire it. Plus he has done a lot more good for the world than I ever will. And I mean really, do we care that he was giving kickbacks to Honda execs back in the day or that he might have had some shady tax situations. I feel like all in all he is a good man. Seems to really care for people. Sure as hell knows how to take care of the people he cares about.

I wonder how much different the 2023 Mustang will be. I suspect Ford made some modifications to assist in the NASCAR arena like GM did with the Camaro.

Also with the failure of "buy in parts" that we are seeing and teams like HMS not having as many issues. Makes me wonder if those guys have started taking those parts apart and rebuilding them to look the same but with better engineering and superior parts. I cannot believe that HMS would be bolting on parts like that without taking them apart and ensuring they were right. As the playoffs get tighter I think we are going to see some steep penalties come up that affect the playoff picture.

Its my understanding that the teams cannot do that at all. Look what RFK did early in the season.

IIRC that penalty was for tampering with a body panel which is clearly illegal. What he's talking about is making sure the purchased mechanical parts are ready to race. I don't see how that would be against the rules. It sounds more like Quality Control than anything.

A number of parts are supposed to be off the shelf. As in everyone gets the same stuff and you bolt it to the car and run it. I just don't see HMS doing that.

I follow KB. I don't care what he drives. My only distaste for Chevy comes from growing up a GM guy and getting burned again and again. Now I prefer Ford and bought a Toyota. But, never say never.

I'm hard pressed to find a 10 year old GM without a bunch of sensor lights on on the dash and other random problems that don't really affect the day to day drivability, but are annoying nonetheless. Can't say the same for Ford. But each brand has their own common issues. In NASCAR it is hardly more than a nameplate with the way the rules are.

Hope not, he deserves a farewell year. But as pissed as he is about the "shit" parts, he might just walk away.
